“This is a full day but an excellent way to get to know Southern Albania. Our guide Marisa was absolutely amazing, giving us loads of information on Albania and available to answer all our questions. Both Blue Eye and Gjirokaskra are great places to visit. Gjirokaskra was the highlight of our visit to Albania, fabulous town with plenty of time to explore and have a great lunch in one of the local restaurants. Clean, comfortable mini van and we were dropped off at our hotel on the way back to Saranda. Highly recommended.”

“I usually give constructive reviews. So, please take this positively. All well went except at Butrint. Butrint was supposed to be the highlight of my trip but it was disappointing. There was so much rush by the guide from one point to another. We didnt get enough time to walk on our own inside the complex, or take pictures. We were just running from one spot to another. Undoubtedly, the guide was very knowledgeable but wish he could give us some free time to enjoy the complex on our own.”

“Albania is just absolutely beautiful. I loved every place we went. My favorite was the Blue Eye. Absolutely magnificent. Really blue with cristal clear waters. Our vote was late to arrived to port and then we had to wait forever to get in a te ser boat. Elvis our tour guide was magnificent. Very knowledgeable, friendly and funny. Particularly, he was very attentive and considerate to my 77 year old mom who cannot walk very well. He help us get a car to go see the Blue Eye. We really had such a wonderful time in Albania with Elvis. I really recommend this tour. Fantastic. Thank you Elvis!”

The guest houses were comfortable and food delicious and generous portions. The tour ran very smoothly, we had an injury in our group and the guide went above and beyond to make sure they got back safely. Daniel, our guide, was a very interesting and knowledgable man and truly made the tour unique. I would recommend moderate fitness for the tour as main hike is tough, but well worth it, and you are required to carry your bags (so pack light!)”
